Buck Creek Village, a unique rural senior cohousing community, is located in a quiet cove four miles south of the border with Albemarle County, in the piedmont of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Nelson County, Virginia. The village lies on a hilltop overlooking a valley and, in the distance, the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ten homes are sited mostly in the woods, on two-acre lots, with a thirty- acre commonly owned parcel of both woods and open hillside. All lots and homes are privately owned. An internal path connects all the lots with the Common House, which has a magnificent setting with views of the mountains and the surrounding hills.
