John A. Shoemaker, Esq. is a resident of Dushore, Sullivan County. He earned a degree in Accounting from King’s College and Juris Doctor from the Penn State Dickinson School of Law, and has received extensive practical training from Lester L. Greevy, Jr., Esq.
John concentrates his practice in lease and title analyzing and curing exceptions of oil and gas from prior deeds, and resolving defects in landowners’ title to oil and gas rights. He litigates a wide variety of issues, including Actions to Quiet Title. He also specializes in problems peculiar to tax sales and unseated land, Dunham’s Rule, and other oil and gas related legal issues unique to Pennsylvania law.
