Staying healthy and living an active lifestyle isn’t always easy to do as we tend to juggle many things in our own lives. We also tend to put a lot of pressure on ourselves to achieve a sort of “perfect” health status. There are a lot of things that contribute to this feeling like seeing other people out and about that we wish we looked like or seeing people on TV or social media that look flawless.
These kinds of feelings can make us feel like we have to “keep up with the Joneses” so to speak. This pressure can lead us to feel like we have to be perfect with our physiques, health and appearance at all times.
This is of course entirely false.

In This Episode You Will Learn:
1). The quote from one of our amazing followers that helped inspire the meaning behind this episode.
2). Why it’s ok to not be perfect with your exercise schedule or diet and to not get down on ourselves if we miss a day or two.
3). How missing a day of exercise or eating a cheat meal doesn’t hurt your fitness and health progress and why making sure you return to your routine is always key.
4). Why it’s important to start of light and slow if you haven’t exercised in a while. jumping right back in with heavy weights or exhausting cardio can actually hurt more than help.
5). Meredith’s final thoughts on not being “perfect” and why it’s important to remember that perfection is not the goal, persistence and perseverance should be your focus.
