This week on the podcast we are diving into how our new “Basics” series exercises can be helpful to you no matter what fitness level you may be at. Our new basics series is all about getting back to the basics of movement, posture, form and energy to help you during your exercise routines to not only promote safety but also maximize returns on your efforts.
As we move through our fitness journeys it may be easy to forget what we learned in the beginning about using proper form and technique when exercising. It is easy to assume that we are exercising correctly and safely but that may not be the case. If not careful, we can injure ourselves or we may not be benefitting from the amount of effort we are exerting when exercising because of improper form etc.
Our new basics series exercises are designed to re-center your exercise routines and help you focus on the fundamentals no matter your fitness level.
1). The general idea behind our new “Basics” series workouts and why Meredith thought it was important to focus on a series of videos that emphasize getting “back to the basics” for all levels of fitness.
2). How it’s easy to start losing proper form during the course of our fitness journeys as we move through levels of fitness (intermediate, advanced etc.) and how this can make us more prone to injury.
3). What you can expect from our Basics series in terms of upper body and lower body exercises in both seated and standing positions and how they can help benefit you.
4). How you will be able to “Mix and Match” our Basics series exercises in with the rest of our workouts to help you build your perfect routine no matter what level of fitness you’re at.
