South Winds Apartments is a small 48-unit affordable housing development located in the quiet suburban beach town of Narragansett, RI. Our one- and two-bedroom apartments serve residents who are 62 years of age or more, and handicapped and/or disabled residents. The development has three 2-story buildings that are surrounded by gardens and mature landscaping. Located one mile from the Atlantic Ocean, the neighborhood boasts several local shops and restaurants within walking distance. All of the apartments have spacious living rooms, large closets, and full kitchens. The laundry facility and community room are all centrally located within the A building. There is ample free parking and local bus service available. Professional management services, including 24-hour emergency response, are offered by POAH Communities.
