To promote life-long learning, Eastern Arizona College offers an in-state tuition waiver to all students over the age of 55. The waiver is available to all who qualify and covers the cost of in-state tuition for any class EAC offers. For those whose legal residency is in another state, the waiver still applies, and the student is only responsible for the out-of-state portion. For example, a one-credit class costs $55 for in-state and $110 for out-of-state students. With the waiver, even out-of-state residents save 50 percent on their tuition!
All you have to do is register for the class(es) of your choice and provide proof of age. The waiver is automatically applied! The waiver does not cover the cost of any extra lab or insurance fees, so students should ask at the time of registration if there are any additional fees for the course.
To sign up for classes at EAC visit Gila Hank Online, located at www.eac.edu or call the Records and Registration Office at 428-8270. EAC’s Fall 2007 classes begin Monday, August 20.
