Welcome to Fresno City College. The college was established in 1910 and has a rich and diverse history. We welcome you to tour the campus and see the historic buildings, fountains and mature landscape.
Fresno City College is a comprehensive learning community offering innovative instructional programs in anticipation of and responsive to the lifelong learning needs of our diverse population. The College provides a wide variety of supportive services to assist our students in achieving their educational goals.
We are dedicated to working collaboratively with our community to enhance the economic and social development of the region.

ETHICS STATEMENT
The principles and values of the Fresno City College Code of Ethics and Excellence guide the faculty, students, and staff in the achievement of a profound appreciation of and respect for the dignity and worth of each member of our community of learners in responding to the trust conferred on the college by the public. We are guided by the standards and principles established by our respective professional associations and organizations in our effort to create an ethical college community.

In our relationships with each other, we will be fair and just in our decisions and actions by carefully weighing the circumstances in an equitable manner.

We adhere to standard conventions of civility and regard of others. Goals
GOAL 1: EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE AND LEADERSHIP IN HIGHER EDUCATION
Fresno City College will challenge students to reach their highest academic potential and facilitate processes that lead to successful completion of their educational objectives
Objectives
Close retention, success, and GPA gaps
Increase graduation and transfer rates
Enhance short-term career readiness, occupational programs, and educational pathways leading to employment, a certificate, a degree, transfer, or an advanced degree
Support effective strategies to enhance quality instruction and support services in order to achieve program, service, and institutional student learning outcomes (ISLOs)
GOAL 2: COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
Fresno City College will strengthen partnerships to increase community engagement and support for meeting the educational needs of our region.
Objectives
Develop and promote Fresno City College brand in order to increase student recruitment and encourage feeder high schools to promote FCC as a college of choice.
Increase participation with community events, boards, committees, businesses, and industry associations
Increase internal and external community participation in college events
GOAL 3: INSTITUTIONAL EFFECTIVENESS AND FISCAL STABILITY
Fresno City College will maintain fiscal health, stability and accountability through strategic integrated planning, resource allocation, and resource development.
Objectives
Work collaboratively with the District and our external partners to increase grants, scholarships, and outside contributions
Improve processes to ensure integrated planning and data supported decision-making
Improve methods to ensure financial accountability and resource stewardship
