Additional information about senior education here.
Senior Learners, Inc. (SLI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational opportunities to seniors who are at least 50 years old by providing noncredit, college-level classes covering a broad range of academic interests. We occasionally provide other activities to promote social interaction among our members.
Our outstanding instructors come from a wide range of backgrounds and include current and retired artists, musicians, teachers, professors, doctors, and scientists.
Classes are typically 2 hours long spread over 1 – 4 weeks. Cost is never more than $2.50 per class hour and some activities are free. SLI is staffed by volunteers so we are able to keep the cost of classes affordable.

Location
SLI was created to continue the tradition established by the former Senior Learning Institute of the College of Central Florida (CF). SLI functions independently of the College, but our classes are held on the CF campus in the University Center (Building 20), room 112. Get a campus map showing our building location. We are near the back of the campus with easy access from SW 20th Street (Airport Road).
Parking
There is ample parking, but you must get a free parking permit the first time you attend a class (available in the classroom). Permits are good for the entire term.
