Petoskey is a picturesque resort community that overlooks Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay, located in the northernmost part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Petoskey's beauty and charm is apparent on North Central's primary campus, located within walking distance of downtown. There is a wide variety of local seasonal festivals, art shows, and museums. There are also exceptional outdoor recreation opportunities, including the 26-mile Little Traverse Wheelway (ideal for walking, biking, and running), world-class boating and fishing, and the Midwest's best downhill skiing.
