Penn State Mont Alto's Go-60 Program
Golden opportunity for people 60 years of age or older
Penn State's Go-60 Program at Penn State Mont Alto waives tuition for up to six credits of credit courses for individuals who are at least 60 years old. Participants must be 60 years old, retired or working less than half-time, be a resident of Pennsylvania or a former Penn State student or past employee of Penn State. Technology, activity and facility fees are charged. Courses may be taken by Go-60 participants if there is space available in the requested courses when the semester begins. Go-60 individuals must meet any course prerequisites and must purchase any required textbooks and course materials.
"Go-60" students may audit a credit course, which means the student follows the regular registration and payment procedure but does not receive a grade for the course. "Go-60" students who wish to audit a course must notify the Registrar's Office when they register.
The program does not apply to courses, non-credit workshops, conferences, and other activities offered by Penn State Continuing Education.
The full academic calendar is online, and so is the schedule of courses and course descriptions. Use Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, not Internet Explorer as your browser.
