Success Starts Here
You've got goals. We're here to help you design an education to get you on your way—whether you're aiming for a college degree or building the skills you need to land a great job. We work hard to help you make your education affordable, because we don't think students should have to take on mountains of debt in order to achieve success.
You can get started here, online, or talk with and admissions counselor to find the path that's right for you.
If you've never attended Aiken Technical College before, this is you. You're also a New Student if your only courses with us have been as a Dual Enrollment student.
Dual Enrollment Student
If you are currently a high school student interested in getting an early start by earning college credits, you will complete the Early Start: Dual Enrollment application.
If you've attended Aiken Technical College previously for college credit but haven't attended for more than two semesters, you are a returning student who will apply for readmission.
If you've taken courses at another college or university and want to transfer to Aiken Technical College to attend part-time or full-time, you are a transfer student.
If you've served our country in any branch of the military, you will enroll as a veteran student.
If you're enrolled in another college or university but want to take a class or two with us for credit, you will enroll as a guest student.
We welcome international students and work to make the transition smooth. Along with regular admissions requirements, international applicants must meet some additional requirements.
Applicants who are at least 60 years of age and legal residents of South Carolina may enroll in classes on a space-available basis without paying tuition. These applicants must meet regular admission requirements, submit an application and pay all applicable fees other than tuition.
Senior citizens who are full-time employees are not eligible for a tuition waiver.
