Stretching is often a part of part of staying healthy that gets easily overlooked. Living an active lifestyle means we use our bodies often and in doing so we can create problems or injuries down the road. To make sure our bodies can handle physical activity we have to take measures to keep it healthy and stretching is a big part of this maintenance.
But what kind of stretching is needed?
Not all stretching is created equal and making sure you get the best kind of stretching in during your workouts can make a big difference in helping you avoid injury and stay healthy and active longer.
1). How stretching gets easily overlooked when we train and in doing so, it can cause tight muscles, in-flexibility or even injury.
2). What stretching actually does for us at an internal level by lengthening our muscles and lubricating joints.
