This week we are discussing the idea of brain fog… what is it and does it mean bigger issues lie waiting?
We all struggle with remembering things no matter what age we are. Forgetting names, places, items like car keys etc, all happen to everyone. But just because we experience these kind of forgetful moments or what we sometimes call “brain fog” does that mean we are losing our memories?
Not necessarily. Being forgetful doesn’t mean we are losing our minds… it means we were just forgetful in most cases and it can be easily classified as brain fog.
1). Why we thought it was important to talk about the concept of brain fog and how this affects everyone at some point in time and the usual worries we get because of it.
2). Some of Meredith’s experiences with her many students and some of the common feedback should gets about people who think they are being a little too forgetful at times and how they feel about it.
3). Some of the physiological problems that are occurring inside our minds that can contribute to foggy-ness forgetful-ness
4). Some things you can try to help stimulate your mind like board games, apps, puzzles etc that help challenge your mind and help keep it sharp no matter what age.
5). Why the COVID pandemic has brought brain fog to the forefront because it is listed as a symptom of the virus and what you need to really look for if you feel like you are experiencing brain fog AND covid symptoms.
