Guy Garner is an Arlington, Texas native and began his law career in Arlington in 1977 when he went to work for Arlington attorneys William L. Bondurant and Paul Tubb. Guy graduated from Howard Payne University located in Brownwood, Texas in 1974 and Baylor University School of Law in 1976.
During the time that Guy worked for William L. Bondurant, Guy worked in the areas of banking and credit union law, real estate, business formation and litigation, wills, probate, and trusts, and many other areas of what is recognized as a “general law practice.”
Guy is a proud founding member of WealthCounsel and The Advisor’s Forum. Guy is a member of ElderCounsel and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). He has co-authored two estate planning books, “Generation” and “Legacy,” and authored several other estate planning books.
Guy is married to the former Nancy L. Wade of Philadelphia, PA. Guy is a second generation Eagle Scout, a Gideon, and an active member of Lamar Baptist Church. Guy has served on the Board of Directors of the Douglas MacArthur Academy of Freedom located in Brownwood, Texas for many years. Guy serves on the Board of Directors of the Alzheimer’s Association North Central Texas chapter.
A Member of Tarrant County, Texas, and the American Bar Associations, Guy is also a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court.
