Aviv received her undergraduate degree at Tulane University and graduated law school from the University of Pittsburgh in 2008. She passed the state bar exam in California and began practicing family law in 2009 before returning to Pennsylvania to take care of her sick parents. She passed the state bar of Pennsylvania in 2010 and worked in the Chief Counsel’s Office of the Pennsylvania State Treasury from 2010 until opening her own practice in March 2012. Her education and her time working as a licensed attorney in both California and Pennsylvania have given her experience
