Mark T. Coulter is an experienced Pittsburgh attorney with an extensive record of success solving his clients’ legal issues, with a focus of interest in Estate Planning and Elder Law issues. In over two decades as an attorney in the Monroeville/Pittsburgh area, he has represented thousands of clients in dozens of states across the country in need of assistance with their legal problems. He currently serves as the Director of the Estate Planning Centers, at The Coulter Law Offices LLC, based in Monroeville, PA and his primary focus is to help families in Southwestern Pennsylvania avoid probate, protect their assets, and provide for the security of their loved ones with a well-crafted estate plan. Probate services for estates and executors are certainly available to help families facing the probate process under a Will following the death of a loved one. If a family prepared in advance with a trust, he can assist the family with trust administration, whether simple or complex. In addition to providing timely and high quality legal services, Mr. Coulter is dedicated to educating local families and conducts seminars for the Pittsburgh community about important estate planning issues and pitfalls to avoid.
Education
Mr. Coulter received his Bachelor of Arts degree with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in 1988, and earned his Juris Doctor degree with honors from the Duquesne University School of Law in 1993, with Honors. Mr. Coulter was selected as a published member of the Duquesne Law Review, an honor reserved for legal scholars performing at the highest level. He continues to take classes every year to remain up to date with the latest legal developments and strategies for his clients.
Experience
Mr. Coulter was granted admission to the legal bar of multiple states, including Pennsylvania, West Virginia, New York, Florida, and Indiana. Currently, Mr. Coulter limits his practice to clients here in Pennsylvania, and he no longer maintains the foreign licensures. Mr. Coulter was honored to be granted admission to the esteemed Bar of the United States Supreme Court in 2002. He has also been admitted to practice before The United States Courts of Appeals, the last level of appeal before the United States Supreme Court, covering 14 states. His Federal Court practice also included representing clients before the federal District Court Judges in many jurisdictions.
Recognition
Mr. Coulter was granted Life Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, based upon his substantial achievements on behalf of his clients. The courts have recognized his ability, even to the point appointing him to represent large groups of individuals with legal issues to be resolved. He was inducted as a Life Member of the National Registry of Who’s Who in 2001.

Personal
Mr. Coulter has been married for over 25 years, with 6 children. He and his family live in Monroeville Pennsylvania, where he enjoys spending time with his family, researching, writing and attempting to carry his share of the housework. He is a lifelong resident of the Pittsburgh area, having been raised in Wexford before moving to Monroeville to raise his family.
