Jane Schmidt focuses her practice on Elder Law – helping seniors save money with Veterans Benefits and careful estate planning to avoid the extremely high cost of nursing home care. She also prepares wills and other Estate Planning documents such as the Power of Attorney and Living Wills.
Jane is a Louisville-based attorney licensed in Kentucky and Georgia. She is a graduate of The College of William and Mary (B.A.), Georgia State University (M.B.A.), and Georgia Law School (J.D.) Jane is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Elder Law Section as well as Elder Counsel, Wealth Counsel, and Elder Law Answers.
