Richard Myers is a 1988 graduate of Cleveland Marshall College of Law and is an experienced trial attorney who has served as lead counsel in dozens of criminal and civil jury trials and over hundreds of hearings in numerous counties in Ohio. He also was an acting magistrate with the Medina Municipal Court from 1994-2000. With the founding of Hehr & Myers Co., L.P.A. in 2001, his focus changed from litigation to proactive Estate, Medicaid and VA planning. An experienced lead attorney in Medicaid Asset Preservation and an Elderlaw Advisor, Mr. Myers conducts workshops and works directly with several senior care providers and fraternal organizations assisting families in the establishment of an estate plan that will maximize the protection of acquired wealth and maintaining the highest quality of life in their retirement. In 2011, he further refined his proactive focus on Elderlaw with the creation of Richard A. Myers, Jr. & Associates, LLC. He is a member of the WealthCounsel, LLC, ElderCounsel, LLC, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Ohio State Bar Association (Estate Planning Committee) and several local bar associations.
