I am Rick Gibson and the owner and principal attorney at the Law Office of Rick Gibson & Associates and the Common Sense Elder Law Firm. I grew up in St. Louis with my parents, 2 brothers a sister and of course, the family dog. From there I went to college at Quincy College (now Quincy University) then on to law school at the University of Notre Dame. Since graduating in 1985 from Notre Dame, I have practiced primarily in Missouri and Illinois, though I have tried cases in 6 different states. I started the Common Sense Elder Law Firm for people like my parents. Our population is aging and there is a great need for lawyers who can meet the needs of older persons. We provide full range of elder law services including Medicaid Planning, Asset Protection, Trusts, Estate Planning, Last Will & Testament, Powers of Attorney for property and Healthcare and Living Wills.
