He assists clients of all ages to implement estate plans to protect themselves and their families, with a special focus on helping seniors maintain independence and plan for incapacity as they age. Greg’s work with seniors includes advising and planning for benefits such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. Following the death of a loved one, Greg helps family members settle the deceased person’s estate, with an emphasis on efficiently completing the estate settlement while preserving family relationships. Greg also appears in probate court to help family members obtain guardianship or conservatorship for someone who can no longer act on his or her own behalf. Finally, as a special needs planner, Greg helps parents and individuals with disabilities establish special needs trusts when needed, to provide increased financial stability for the person with special needs into the future.
