After spending 12 years as a TV meteorologist, Jerrid changed careers and moved into the financial services industry in 2014. Jerrid has a heart for teaching and continues to utilize his broadcasting background to inspire people to live with more purpose, impact, and freedom. Besides being the co-founder of Retire Repurposed, Jerrid is the Director of Business Development for Taatjes Financial Group.

Jennifer Heeren loves to write and wants to live in such a way that people are encouraged by her writing and her attitude. She loves to write devotional articles and stories that bring people hope and encouragement. Her cup is always at least half-full, even when circumstances aren’t ideal. She regularly contributes to Crosswalk. Her debut novel is available on Amazon. She lives near Atlanta, Georgia with her husband.

Jennifer is the Content Manager for SeniorResource.com, a freelance writer, and an educator for the Encore Learning program at her local community college, where she teaches classes designed for senior adults. Beyond her professional roles, Jennifer shares her home with her husband, four children, and two dogs, Eleanor Rigby and Penny Lane. During her leisure time, she enjoys reading, camping, and macrame. She also has a passion for plants and gardening. Jennifer speaks fluent movie quotes and song lyrics, because why say it in plain words when you can quote The Beatles instead?
