38 Best Places to Get Senior Discounts in 2026

Growing older isn’t without its perks! Case in point: senior discounts. And while a lot of businesses have done away with senior discounts, others are still proud to offer them! Better yet, we’ve put together this list of the BEST senior discounts so you don’t have to go poking around Google and find them yourself!
Airline Senior Discounts

Believe it or not, air travel is the safest form of transit (per the Department of Transportation). Bonus point? Some airlines offer senior discounts, like the ones listed below!
American Airlines
If you go on American Airlines’ website right now, you won’t see a section for senior discounts. But with a bit of creative finagling and clicking around, you can find the discounts you deserve! CNN advises senior travelers to visit aa.com and select “Advanced/Multi-city search.” Next, enter your search criteria and select “Senior (65+)” under the “Passengers” section. If a discount is available for that flight, it will be automatically applied!
Delta Airlines
Senior travelers who choose Delta Airlines can receive a 20% discount on certain flights! However, there’s a caveat: the offer isn’t available through their website. All you have to do is call the reservation line at 1-800-221-1212 for more info. (Note: Senior discounts are only available in certain markets, per Delta Airline’s website.)
Entertainment Senior Discounts

Raise your hand if you love being entertained. Now, raise your other hand if you’d love to score some great discounts on your entertainment. If both your hands are raised, you’re in luck! Here are some places where you can get your fill of fun without draining your wallet!
AMC Theatres
Movie fans, take heart! AMC Theatres offers seniors aged 60 and older tickets at a discounted rate. Visit their website, search your city, and find a showtime to let the savings begin.
Cinemark
Good news! If you’re 62 or older and live in the right place, you can buy discounted tickets on select days at your local Cinemark. However, we should note that, per their website, the offer doesn’t apply to special engagement films and events.
Landmark Theaters
Remember when Michael Scott had Movie Mondays on The Office? Well, that can be your reality, thanks to Landmark Theaters! Every Monday, senior movie-goers aged 65 and older can enjoy a 20% discount on their tickets. Better yet, you’ll also receive 20% off your concession purchase, too! Click here to see all the locations where this senior discount applies!
US National Parks
Do you love visiting National Parks? Well, then you’re in luck! Per NPS.gov: “US citizens and permanent residents ages 62 and older can purchase an annual America the Beautiful—the National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass for $20.00, or a lifetime version for $80.00. Applicants must provide documentation of age and residency or citizenship.” Note that this discount does NOT apply to special recreation permit fees or concession fees. In other words, you’ll probably have to pay full price for that hot dog.
Regal
Guess what? Movie buffs aged 60 and older can enjoy a discount! Additionally, if you join the Royal Crown Club, you can get discounted tickets to any movie, provided you go and see it on a Tuesday. You’ll even get 50% off your popcorn! Talk about a sweet deal!
Ticketmaster
If you’re an avid Ticketmaster user and at least 50 years old, then we’ve got great news for you! While not available with every ticket purchase, Ticketmaster does offer senior discounts for certain shows. So, the next time you go to buy tickets, check and see if there’s a senior discount option! Your wallet will be happy you did.
Grocery Store Senior Discounts

Family Fare
What day do you tend to go grocery shopping? Monday? Tuesday? Well, how about switching it to Wednesday? If you swing by your local Family Fare on Wednesday, you’ll be able to save 5% on your entire haul, provided that you’re 55 or older. This offer doesn’t apply to lottery tickets, gift cards, alcohol, or basically anything that doesn’t fall under the “pantry staples” category.
Fred Meyer
If Wednesdays are grocery shopping day at Family Fare, then make Tuesdays your shopping day at Fred Meyer! Or, at least, the first Tuesday of every month. That’s because senior shoppers over the age of 55 can enjoy 10% off select items that day! According to Fred Meyer’s website, your senior discount includes:
- Private brand groceries & nutrition, including Fred Meyer, Kroger, Simple Truth & more brands!
- Apparel
- Shoes

Applebee’s
If Applebee’s Crispy Orange Chicken bowl is calling your name, we’ve got good news. Diners aged 60 and above can enjoy 10 to 15% off their meal at most locations. Cinnabon
Cinnabon rolls are cin-fully delicious. (Sorry, we had to.) That’s because if you’re both an AARP member and have a Cinnabon Rewards account, you can nab a 10% discount at ALL participating locations. Yummy!
Denny’s
Speaking of an AARP membership, you might want to check out Denny’s after you get your Cinnabon. Denny’s is proud to offer a 15% discount to AARP members at all participating locations. But it doesn’t end there. Denny’s takes senior discounts so seriously that they even offer a discounted menu just for seniors. Like we said, growing older isn’t without its perks!
