James Voeller is an attorney licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas. He began his career as a member of the staff of the Minneapolis office of Ernst & Whinney. From there, James worked as an associate with the law firm of Wiese & Cox of Minneapolis before establishing The Voeller Law Firm in 1983. Throughout his career, James has helped families structure their affairs in order to eliminate the threat of government intervention into their private lives and protect their assets from lawsuits. In the process, he has helped families save millions of dollars in estate taxes and probate costs.
James earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Minnesota Law School where he graduated with honors in 1980. James received his undergraduate degree from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minnesota, where he graduated magna cum laude.James is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Supreme Court of the State of Texas and all other Texas state, county and local courts, the Supreme Court of Illinois and the Supreme Court of Minnesota. In 2009 James co-authored the book entitled Estate Planning Strategies – Collective Wisdom, Proven Techniques.
