Adult Student Scheduling
To enable adult students to schedule classes around other life responsibilities like children and employment, we invite them to apply for priority scheduling, which allows them to schedule classes one day before students with the same class standing.
Adult students who wish to apply for priority scheduling should complete the Priority Scheduling Application and submit it to the Office for Adult Student Services. Priority scheduling will be granted for one year, after which time a new application should be completed.
Students with priority scheduling are permitted to schedule classes without getting an advisor’s alternate PIN every semester for the period authorized. Therefore, the advisor’s signature on the application or an e-mail from the advisor stating he/she has advised the student for the next year, is required.
Adult students are encouraged to complete scheduling on S.C.O.T.S. for maximum priority. If you have a Public Information Hold on your records, you will only be able to register on S.C.O.T.S. or in person with photo identification.
