The Sixty-Five Plus Program (formerly the Sixty-Plus Program) is a tuition waiver offered by Missouri Southern State University designed for community members sixty-five years of age or older (65+) who would like to take on campus classes (audit only) with a special pricing benefit.
65+ students receive a 100% tuition waiver for three credit hours per semester. Book rental charges, ID card, course supplies, special course costs, and repeated courses are the student’s responsibility. A $25 registration/processing cost will be applied each semester. Continuing Education, online and graduate-level classes are not eligible for the Sixty-Five Plus Program.
New 65+ students must be admitted to the university before they may register. To apply for admission, contact the Admissions Office in Hearnes Hall room 106 or call 417-625-9378. Students may register during Regular Registration in the Registrar’s office in Hearnes Hall room 101 or by calling 417-625-9389.
