Program 60 is going online!
mansfield/academics/program60.jpgProgram 60 participants may take undergraduate, graduate-level and distance learning (online) courses on a space-available basis during the spring, summer and fall terms. The courses you take are tuition free, do not count for credit and cannot count towards a future degree. Some courses may require you to pay applicable course or lab fees and may suggest you purchase a textbook.
It’s easy to get started: Beginning Autumn Semester 2019, the P60 admission process will go online for all the regional campuses, which includes Lima, Marion, Mansfield and Newark.
This means that paper registration will no longer be available/used. If you have resided in the State of Ohio for one calendar year and will be age 60 or older during the term of registration and enrollment, then you will complete an online application. The online application only needs to be completed once and there is no application fee.
During this transition, the Mansfield Campus will NOT be taking registrations for Summer Term 2019. The Program will begin again for Autumn 2019 (classes start Tuesday, August 20th), using the new online process. Registration opens mid-July, so check back in July for more information. This information will outline the steps to take if you plan to enroll an Autumn Semester 2019 class.
The AU19 schedule and course descriptions are now available online at https://mansfield.osu.edu/academics/course-schedules.html. Please feel free to review the schedule for classes that may be of interest to you.
See y’all in the fall!
