For this episode, we are diving into a topic that we feel is important to consider no matter what age you are.
What is meditation and why should you try it? A great question! And precisely the reason why we wanted to do a podcast on it. Meditation can be a great way to improve brain function, relieve stress, provide clarity, and promote a calmer way of life if performed regularly.
However, it’s not easy to adopt meditation into our daily lives. We are busy with work, projects, and other responsibilities that can put daily meditation on the back burner. However, if you’ve ever been curious about meditation or are looking to learn more about how it can help improve your daily life then this episode is for you.
1). Why meditation may have a misunderstood stigma attached to it based on stereotypes and why these things could be farthest from the truth.
2). How meditation can help clear your mind from many of these stresses that we encounter during the day or week and how only a few minutes a day or every other day can make a big difference.
3). Why it’s hard for us to find the time to meditate during our day because we feel we don’t have enough time but also how we don’t realize that you only need a few minutes a day.
4). How trying a guided meditation class or group setting may be a great way for you to get introduced to meditation and how it can help you feel more relaxed when trying it out.
5). How aging puts a lot of strain on our minds with so many things we deal with from family, work, money, responsibilities etc. and how meditation could be a tool you can use to help manage all of these things.
