This Living to 100 Club Podcast highlights an innovative university-based retirement community that is based on a college campus in Westchester County, New York. Our guest is Ashley Wade, Chief Executive Officer and Marketing Director of Broadview Senior Living.  We discuss the benefits for seniors who decide to move to a university-based community. Many want to continue their education in their new living environment and build meaningful inter-generational friendships. How will students benefit from exchanging their views with another generation? What learning opportunities exist for students in their interactions with Broadview residents? How will these opportunities impact the students’ education?

This innovative senior living model builds on seniors’ desire for intellectually stimulating, intergenerational living environments. This environment allows residents firsthand opportunity to audit courses, and exchange in cultural offerings. Further, it can foster healthy new relationships with students, faculty, and university staff. Tune in to this Podcast to learn more about this unique and energizing model for senior living.
