This week we’re diving into a great discussion about the effects of alcohol especially in our senior population. Enjoying a beer or wine occasionally is a great way to get ourselves into “relax mode” and enjoy some down time.
It’s also a great way to bond with friends or loved ones. But what exactly do we need to know about the effect alcohol has on our bodies especially as we age? Are we at higher risk of being impaired? Is it safe to be mobile for a long period of time? What are the risks?
These are all great questions that we may overlook while partaking in a few drinks and we’re here today to provide some insight into a few things to keep in mind the next time we have a drink so we can enjoy safely and responsibly.
